Madera Humana

Madera Humana is a cultural and musical hybrid, consisting of five passionate musicians, drawing from roots in Africa, the East and West Coasts, as well as urban, suburban and rural ways of life.

Madera Humana’s intention is to work toward functioning completely on sustainable resources. As fathers, permaculture practitioners, musicians and advocates of sustainability, we strive to tour, play and eat in sustainable ways.

Madera Humana love to play music and we serve up an uplifting experience of sound. We infuse our music with world sounds of the past, present and future, while acknowledging the full range of our Human Family. Our gypsy tribal folk funk inspires celebration through dance and social interaction, providing inspiration for the diverse mind to create new forms of play.
