It was a tid bit nipply along
Caledonia Street, but that didn't stop the musicians, artists
and collectors from coming out in full force. For the listening
pleasure of people in attendance, Typsy Gypsy played in front
of Essene. Their gyspy jazz was a delight to all in ear shot.
The moment I heard their music, it put a huge grin on my face.
Their music is performed in the tradition pioneered
by Django Reinhart. It has a very light hearted sound that
is uplifting and cheery. It was a perfect addition to the May
event.

Eva Mautner made her second appearance
in May. She has been receiving attention with her whimsical paintings
of landscapes, animals and still lifes. People seem to be drawn
to her work, as I have had several requests by merchants to exhibit
since April. She was even offered a show as a result of her appearance.
We were glad that she was grace us with her presence. She will
be exhibiting in August at L&L Property management on Caledonia
Street.

Alternative Folk diva Olivia Voss performed with Bryan Brunt
at Bridgeway Terrace, a new addition to Art Walk in May. She has
the voice of an angel, with accomplished vocalists commenting on
how developed her singing is. You can see Olivia and Bryan appearing
at May's event. Be sure not to miss it as they really have their
act together. |
Carolyn Jones appeared in the April event pictured
here with her colorful abstract photography of art glass. This
was her first Art Walk and she plans on showing at future events.
Her photography was very reasonably priced starting at just over
$50 a print. We look forward to her participating in future events.

Jessica Stafford was another new face at the April event. She
was exhibiting her photography, pottery and line of hand made greeting
cards. She very much enjoyed participating in her first Art Walk
and plays on appearing in future events.
