August 8th Art Walk
We want to thank every one of our participants for making August a resounding success. The music presence was over the top and absolutely fabulous. There were accomplished musicians jamming the entire length of Caledonia.
People couldn't help but boot scoot to the Billy Boys, who were something else to put it mildly. I have had the honor of listening to their CDs and now live. I am now a fan and will be catching these cowpoke live thew first chance I get. They are charting oversees in Europe and Australia and have been well received in Nashville. It's a wonder that they aren't yet all over the charts in the US yet. They definitely have a loyal following in the Bay Area and a special thanks goes out to Billy, Billy, Billy and Billy, for helping to make August's Art Walk so much fun.
Balentine's fire was the other end of the street and spectrum. They here performing their self-styled Celtic-Hip Hop fusion. They were sampling and rapping with a Celtic style resounding through their urban rhymes.
